Lord, I will Praise you.
With worship, I will praise.
Not with just my voice,
but with my hands and feet,
with the movement of my body
and the rhythm of my steps.
I will shout and I will sing.
I will move and I will dance.
With whatever is in my hands,
I will praise.
With whatever you give me,
Wherever you place me,
I will Praise.

During Church services at Bethel Assembly (the Indian-run, Christian church that hosts us in Malaysia), women at the church will often do beautiful tambourine dance routines to worship. I got to be apart of their tambourine dancing routine at one point, and it brought a whole new meaning to “praise Him with the timbrel and dancing”! Dance truly is such a beautiful way to worship the Lord. This poem is the only proper way I can find to truly describe the experience. (:
